I am a highly experienced and dedicated tutor specialising in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with excellent subject knowledge and a strong track record of helping students achieve outstanding results. I am friendly, approachable and patient, and I believe that building positive relationships with students is key to successful learning.

I have extensive experience in private tutoring, supporting students across KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level. Having taught in both primary and secondary schools across the UK, I have developed the skills and expertise to work effectively with students from a wide range of backgrounds, abilities and learning styles. My approach focuses on building confidence, strengthening subject knowledge and helping every student reach their full academic potential.

Academically, I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, which has provided me with a strong scientific foundation, particularly in Biology and Chemistry. I have over 11 years of experience teaching and tutoring these subjects and have also worked as a qualified pharmacist alongside my teaching career. This combination of academic knowledge and professional experience allows me to explain scientific concepts clearly and relate them to real-life applications.

In addition to Science, I am qualified to teach Spanish from KS1 through to GCSE (KS4). I aim to make my lessons enjoyable, engaging and productive, ensuring that students develop a genuine understanding of the subject while making consistent progress. I teach across a range of exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).

A key part of my teaching is preparing students thoroughly for examinations. I provide clear explanations, encourage active participation and use carefully planned lessons tailored to each student's individual needs. I place particular emphasis on developing exam technique, effective revision strategies and independent learning skills, helping students approach assessments with confidence and achieve the best possible grades.

What I enjoy most about one-to-one tutoring is the opportunity to share my passion for Science and provide personalised support that reflects each student's strengths, challenges and goals. By adapting my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles, I aim to make even the most challenging topics accessible and enjoyable.

I find it incredibly rewarding to see students grow in confidence, overcome difficulties and achieve goals they once thought were beyond their reach. I take great pride in motivating my students, celebrating their progress and helping them realise their full potential.

My goal is to make learning enjoyable, build lasting confidence and deliver excellent results for every student.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve your academic goals!
